The first half of the program opens with beloved modern arias of the 20th/21st century. After intermission, get ready for The Companion from the opera Three Way, a comic opera set in the future for soprano, baritone, and tenor.

Maya (soprano) lives with her android lover named Joe (tenor). This interactive programmed Companion looks and sounds human—only better. Still, Maya wants more complexity from Joe.
