Battery Dance Company presents the 33rd Annual Downtown Dance Festival, featuring  Mazzini Dance Collective, including Company by Annmaria Mazzini, set to an American Modern Ensemble recording of Robert Paterson's The Thin Ice of Your Fragile Mind for flute, clarinet violin, cello, percussion and piano.

"MDC is thrilled to join some of New York's best loved companies at this highly popular outdoor festival. Our program will include Companyperformed by MDC dancers Emily D'Angelo, Rachel Holmes, Evelyn Wheeler, Audra Bailey, Megan Cohl, and Bridget Cronin, to the music of MDC Composer-in-Residence, Robert Paterson, as well as the New York premiere of Annmaria's newest solo, Cet Air, and When We Rise, choreographed and performed by MDC Guest Artist Orion Duckstein. This is a free program. Pack a picnic and enjoy modern dance against the backdrop of the setting sun. MDC is scheduled to take the stage at approximately 6:45."
