Join AME for the virtual world premiere of Robert Paterson’s The Four Seasons album. This album features American Modern Ensemble, and all four singers who will be singing this evening: Marnie Breckenridge, Soprano, Blythe Gaissert, Mezzo-Soprano, Alok Kumar, Tenor, and David Neal, Bass-Baritone.
This album consists of four song cycles with a total of twenty-one songs, with settings of poems by A. R. Ammons, Billy Collins, Robert Creeley, Rita Dove, Edna St. Vincent Millay, Jennifer O’Grady, Carl Sandburg, May Sarton, Evelyn Scott, Anne Sexton, Ann Stanford, Sharan Strange, Sara Teasdale, Wallace Stevens, Dorothea Tanning, Richard Wilbur, and William Carlos Williams.
