Performance of Relative Theory and Hell's Kitchen at Michigan State University (MSU) as part of a week-long residency with American Modern Ensemble.

American Modern Ensemble brings its signature energy and versatility to MSU, showcasing contemporary works with a focus on influential living composers. Based in New York City and co-founded by composer Robert Paterson and violinist Victoria Paterson, the ensemble is known for dynamic programming that explores a broad musical palette with instrumentation ranging from strings, winds, and percussion to piano and voice. Their inventive approach and bold repertoire offer a compelling window into the evolving landscape of modern classical music.
